INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

The IQAC will integrate into the institution's system and work to achieve the objectives of quality enhancement and sustenance because quality improvement is a continual process. The main goal of the IQAC is to create a system for consciously, consistently, and catalytically improving institutions' overall performance.

Every recognised institution should set up an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a quality maintenance tool, according to the NAAC's Action Plan for Performance Evaluation, Assessment, Accreditation, and Quality Upgrading of Institutions of Higher Education. The IQAC will integrate into the institution's system and work to achieve the objectives of quality enhancement and sustenance because quality improvement is a continual process. The main goal of the IQAC is to create a system for consciously, consistently, and catalytically improving institutions' overall performance.

STRATEGIES

IQAC will develop systems and practises for:

1. Ensuring prompt, effective, and progressive completion of academic, administrative, and financial duties.
2. Academic and research programmes' relevance and quality.
3. affordable and equitable access to academic programmes for all societal groups.
4. Modern teaching and learning techniques are optimised and integrated.
5. The validity of evaluation methods
6. ensuring the sufficiency, upkeep, and efficiency of the support system and services.
7. Networking and sharing research with other organisations in India and abroad.

FUNCTIONS

Among the duties that the IQAC is anticipated to do are:

Establishing and implementing quality standards/parameters for the institution's numerous academic and administrative tasks

Promoting faculty development to adopt the necessary knowledge and technology for participative teaching and learning processes and the construction of a learner-centric environment supportive of quality education

Organize for student, parent, and other stakeholders' feedback on institutional processes that affect quality.

Dissemination of data on numerous higher education quality metrics

Promotion of quality circles, inter- and intra-institutional workshops, and seminars on quality-related topics

Documentation of the numerous quality improvement programmes and activities

coordinating quality-related initiatives for the Institution, including the adoption and promotion of best practises

MIS is used for the creation and maintenance of institutional databases with the goal of preserving and developing institutional quality.

Creation of a quality culture inside the organisation.
